my gallbladder hates me.
I have been having horrible back/shoulder pains for about a year now.
It only happens about once a month or so. I will wake up in the middle of the night with excruciating pain.
Nothing I do makes it better. No position change. Nothing.
I had a CT Scan done to make sure I wasn’t dying…..and I have gallstones.
It has now acted up 4 times this month.
I need to make some huge changes to my “diet” because I really want to avoid surgery.
That is the goal for my day off tomorrow…..try and make a real plan to stop this nonsense.
I have so much I want to post….but I am super annoyed because I can’t figure out for the life of me how to get pictures added to my posts! This is something that should be simple. I think I am making it way too hard.
I love this quote by a top finisher in the NYC Half…..the Half that I just finished!!!!
When you’re out there, and you’re hurting, remember it’s not just about you. It’s about representing your community, it’s about representing your city, and it’s about showcasing the triumph of the human spirit. -Mike Cassidy, local top finisher of NYC Half ’14
I love the “it’s about showcasing the triumph of the human spirit”
That is one of my top reason I love runner. Every runner that I spoke with, was perfectly amazing. We helped each other along when we were hurting. It was freezing cold and I simply helped a woman unlatch her gloves so she could put them on….you would have thought I gave her a million dollars.
I need to decide which direction to really take this blog…….I want to write. I just don’t ever know where to start.
I guess first things first, I need to figure out the picture thing!
